AUTHOR JANETTE OKE'S TOMATO CHEESE SPREAD

1/2 can tomato soup (2/3 cup)
1/2 cup shredded American cheese
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp instant minced onion

Cook ingredients over moderate heat, stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Chill. Serve as sandwich filling or cracker dip. Makes 1 cup.
