2 tbsp butter
6 medium carrots, thinly sliced on the bias
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried basil

Melt the butter in a medium skillet; add the sliced carrots.  Sprinkle the salt and basil over all.  Cover skillet and simmer 10 to 12 minutes until carrots are just tender.
