This blog is for the posting of Vintage Recipes. I have inherited recipes from both my grandmothers, mother, aunts, etc over the years. I am also a cookbook collector with several old cookbooks in my possession. My goal here is to share with you older recipes that have been lost to many. I hope you will enjoy my blogs and some old memories will be revived by some of the recipes. Note:To save the vintage value of these recipes, I make no changes. You see the original recipe as written.

This is a great recipe. I made the cookies to these directions and they are delicious. Thank you for sharing your grandma's recipe.
I made these and they are delicious. This is now my go to persimmon cookie recipe. Thank you so much for sharing.
I foraged a small amount of persimmons yesterday and had enough pulp to make a half batch of cookies. I used pecans for the nuts. The cookies are good...a "cakie" style cookie, though, that doesn't spread out much when it cooks; so I flattened the second tray of cookies with the back of a wet spoon before baking. That tray was even better. My kids aren't into the raisins and nuts, so I think of these as more of an adult cookie...definitely has a nostalgic flavor! Thanks for the recipe!
I love this so much!! I have a collection of my Grandma's recipes and I will be making he persimmon pudding for Thanksgiving. Most of the recipes say "Oleo" so I appreciate the fact you have left all of her words the same.
Just got done making these cookies, they are sooo good! I added dried cranberries they go good with the persimmon.
I will definitely be making them again😋.
