This is another of my old Hoosier recipes.

1 lb fresh cranberries
3 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 container (12-oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Grind cranberries. Add the sugar to the cranberries; stir together well. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 24 hours. Before serving, fold in the nuts and whipped topping.
